Many of you may have notices a few changes in the Forum appearance. We've been doing a lot of work to make the forum component blend better with the rest of the site.
You may have also noticed that we disabled the "Newest Stories", "Last Updated Stories" and the entire right hand sidebar for the forum page. We did this as we felt the forum was a bit SQUISHED All you need to do is click any of the links at the top for "Community Home", "Stories Home", "Links", or "FAQ's" to regain the sidebar and you will get the navigation sidebar back.
And now to new FEATURES
Well it's not entirely new. They have been here the whole time, but I just learned how to use them. The first is the eBAY () button.
You will find the eBay () button to the right of the link/url button in the "Boardcode:" area. If you click the button, it will insert the following code into your message.
[ebay][/ebay]
Then all you need to do is add the eBay Item Number/ID between the two tags like so.
[ebay]370297550716[/ebay]
And then, when you finish your message you will be left with this.
Now the second feature is very similar. It's the VIDEO () button just right of the eBay button. When you select the VIDEO () button it will actually display a lot of boxes where you can input provider, video id, width, height, etc, or just put in the URL of a video. When you fill out the nessecary fields, and then click "Insert" code similar to the following is inserted in your posting.
